Boxing now or in the old days?

What do you all think the world of boxing today? I loved the HIPE from the old days in the boxing, and I began to think that just don `t have it both chapions now.Or the boxing was good, Or if? What do you think? better today, or in old days before 1980 say? Thankx for the replies.

I would say that boxing is still great. AND I THINK NO MORE THEN TALK BOXING, for the simple reason most of the best fighters of the era CAME. Think about it. Ali, Frazier, Marciano, Dempsey, ROBINSON ETC. WERE ALL THAT ERA. But I would say that boxing continues still great NOW. Thinking about this now. WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO COMPARE THE NBA THEN AND NOW? JORDAN, BIRD, MAGIC, Malone? VS. Kobe, LeBron, Wade and Anthony? Of course I do not think so.
