For the next Miguel Cotto / Zab Judah fight at Madison Square Garden is opening of its 3,000-seat mezzanine for a boxing event for the first time since 2001. When was the last time the Garden needed these 3,000 additional seats you ask? In 2001, the unification middleweight Bernard Hopkins and Felix Trinidad. I am one of the few people who feel the competition between boxing and MMA is good for both sports. Since the UFC is supposedly engulfing boxing why not UFC events held at the Garden or the Staples Center? Your thoughts?

Well said CR, Ric and the extent that it is one you have been defending since the start. I see no conflict between the two sports more than conflicts of baseball to football.
