How to Get Stains off silver?
I have a jewelry box I got for my birthday. The box is made of wood and then there is a piece of silver on it, with my initials. Well, on the silver is some dark stains. I think my bird may have went to the bathroom on the silver piece on it, but I don’t know for sure. The jewelry box is only a couple of months old. How so I get the dark spots off the silver, without ruining the wood or the silver?
Please help! This jewelry box means a lot to me and I want it to be like new!!

The black dark stains are a normal thing that happens to silver from being exposed to the air. It’s called tarnish.
get some Tarn-X like another answer said, or any tarnish remover. You should find it with the household cleaning products in any store like Target or Wal-Mart
