I've been working hard for the past few months, and I'm thinking about taking a boxing gym class. Supposedly, The training consists of jumping rope, circuit training, shadow boxing, medicine ball exercises, abdominal toning, flexibility and strength training. I wonder if I can do this, 3 times a week (you can choose to do 1 – 5 days a week Sal), where are the results? I'm 5'7 in the normal range BMI, but really want to tone.

Boxing is one of the best and fastest ways to get fit. To do a lot of cardio with the jump rope and shadow boxing and medicine ball to work on your strength and endurance and ab toning all at once. If you really work hard at it and your diet is good, you will see results very quickly. I can train fighters and I've seen some guys come in the gym so out of shape and within 3 weeks of hard work begin to tone and have more resistance. But the body of each responds differently to the development of what the results vary from person to person, but you can reach all goals with hard work and dedication. And have patience, the results will come if you stick with it. My old coach is 66 years old and is in better shape most 30 years old, and it's all for boxing. Good luck to you!
