Rings Mma Rules

bruce lee in a fight without any rules?
hi guys, i talked to self defense expert peyton quinn, who had a lot of serious street fights, and his opinion was, that lee would have bad chances if even no chances in todays mma ring, especially because he has never proofed his real fighting skills, any arguments against him? i personally think that lee would be a dangerous opponnent for anyone in a fight without rules… he studied all fighting techiniques and was a damn fast and destroying striker, he would likely try finger stitches and nuts kicks… i would say he has no chance against a heavyweight boxer after boxing rules or against a mma heavyweight after mma rules, but whats up if there are no rules???
I think Lee could handle himself in the street, but in MMA, he only had 1/4 of the skills.
He took wrestling and judo in college, he did some sub with Gene LeBell, and he sparred with Thais on the set of The Big Boss. But overall, his main skills were wing chun and right lead boxing.
You need thai, wrestling, and jits at a high level to do mma. He did not have that.
For a 3-second street fight it might not matter, but for mma, it does.
I am a student of Lee’s art and I admire the man, but to spend so much time thinking about Lee, arguing about Lee, and speculating about Lee in unreal scenarios is counterproductive.
Lee wanted to elevate the overall level of the martial arts, and he had no interest in being what he became- a pop icon and a cult figure.
