I am an electrical dummy and need help in my home please …….?

I rest circut in the bedroom the other night and I have a switch box therein. Do not see a fuse box anywhere inside or outside the home. I have no outside the box only has switches that are in or out. Some have a way test and then be reset. The electrician set up the box real weird as some are in the off position you are in and some that are when in the on position. Needless to say, for me is real confusing. The lights in the upstairs bathroom does not work and the dryer is not getting power either. Both are in different places. I tried to move all the switches in different positions and of course, none of the switches are marked as to what they are. Had a blown fuse could at least see that it was burned. Do you have to have a fuse box somewhere? How I can get this resolved? Please help me I have only a very small budget to solve this problem.

Turn off all switches in the switch is activated.
