Why can’t I copy and paste text from my IM window or message archive on Yahoo Messenger?
Whenever I do so, a dialog box comes up that says:
Internet Explorer Script Error
An error has occurred in the script on this page.

No matter which option I choose, nothing happens. I still couldn’t copy text directly from an Instant Message window or message archive, which I could fully do BEFORE.
I don’t know what happened so please help.
I’ve been browsing several issues similar to mine. Well, mostly are concerning the messages not appearing – which can be apparently solved by just resetting the internet options on the Internet Explorer browser… WHICH I’ve done and (as I have thought beforehand) had no resulting effect.

I had the same problem too, but today it solved. 
Actually, about several days ago I installed the sweet IM program for the additional features to my YM. everything goes well, until I copied text from my IM window, and pasted it. It didn’t work!
I’ve tried reinstalled again and again the YM, but still, no solution. Apparently, i forgot to uninstalled that additional sweet IM program!
So today, i uninstalled the sweet im program first, then i reinstall the YM, and it’s solved.
I recommend you to try uninstall all the YM related program first as I did. Then u reinstall the YM.
