Who do you think will win at UFC 118 – James Toney vs. Randy Couture?

It’s a lot of pressure because each man is representing their sport (Boxing vs. MMA). This looks like a good PPV, lots of good matches including the rematch between BJ Penn vs. Frankie Edgar.

I like this card a lot. I really think that Toney is going to upset Couture. Randy is 47 years old now, he isn’t spry anymore and his chin is made of cigarette ash. Lesnar knocked him down with a clipping shot, Big Nog knocked him down 3 times, and Vera crumpled him with a bodyshot. He knows how to survive and that is why he lasted against Nog and Vera, but he is too old to take punishment now. Toney is a HOF caliber Boxer with 4oz gloves on, if he even clips Couture then Randy will be down and out. Of course Randy is the favorite and has more advantages, but all it will take is one punch from Toney to knock him out, and I’m banking that Toney lands that punch.

My other quick picks are Florian over Maynard, and I hope Davis smashes Nate Diaz. I thought BJ beat Edgar the first time, but it was a close fight and I think the Prodigy will make a statement this time around with a big win. Then as I already said I’m taking Lights Out to upset Couture. This is gonna be a great card.
