how can i become a better boxer ?
i’m 16 5-11 i have a normal body not fat or to skinny
and i want to become a boxer there is no BoXING GYM located on my town
so i practice at home i’m really dedicated
i don’t want to become a Professional boxer i box because i like 2 btw
i have a punching bag , speed bag , DUmmy (bob), hand wraps. gloves etc
i practice one hour everyday
what are some tips for me to become a better boxer ?
how long i have to train at least ?
how long i have to run ?
how man sit ups i have 2 do ?
what do i have to eat to gain ENERGY ?
how long do i have to jump ropes ?
how can i gain stamina ?

so you want to become a better boxer just for fun? do you have any competitions or fights in mind?
well what i would recommend if you do wanna do some fighting is to find a boxing gym nearest to you, even if it is not in your town, try looking beyond your towns perimeter. I mean, it wouldn’t be worth going if it takes 45 min to an hour to get there, but if its like at most 30 min away, that’d be cool
but if there are absolutely no gyms you can go to, i would have to say to just keep practicing hard. im assuming you already know the proper ways to do everything (punching, stance, etc.).
training an hour a day is good too, but try to do a bit more, like 30 min to an hour more. roadwork, i would say try to build it up to at least 5-6 miles and at least 4 days a week. it really doesn’t matter how many sit ups you need to do, just do as many as you want, i mean more is better but you dont have to be so excessive. and i mean there are other ab workouts you can incorporate into ur training instead of just sit ups. for energy, you should be eating right. and i guess wheat germ oil will help too. my trainer told me that wheat germ oil gives you energy, so im trying that out right now. and jump ropes, like i said about situps, it all depends on you. i typically jump rope for about 15-20 min and for gaining stamina, jump roping and roadwork will help with that.
it would be great for you to get into the ring and spar some. that will help a whole lot to becoming a better boxer. you would be able to learn how to pace yourself, move around more and build stamina that way too.
