antennas for HDTV? Anteenas expensive housing for digital signal converter box? What happens? Are we being cheated?

I think the best way to get farther and farther annels television is by simple cables hanging around the nearby windows. It is an "analog" reception we have to collect. and the best way the antennas are not very sophisticated, especially home-made configurations. I will say that there fake a lot of hype on large antennas for digital converter boxes. A high definition signals is not only a clear picture entering and viewing on your TV. HD-TV a scam by definition. The smaller the TV, the picture will be clearer. The bigger the screen, the more difficult is to get a good picture. Do not fall victum to the marketing tactics of a lot of marketing or for so-called HD TV. As the seasons radio broadcast said the HD radio. Nothing could be further from the truth. A good stereo system for your home or vehicle need not be expensive. My best digital results peices of wire, not amplyfied. Do not waste your money.

My antenna Kmart flights still works very well for my HDTV – including 1080i HD channels. If someone is not bright enough to at least connect and see if it works before buying a expensive amplified antenna – deserve to be cheated.
