Boxing and points?

I have become very interested to see boxing, but I really do not understand the point system. Is it a direct hit point or more complicated? I can not find anything other than the Queensberry rules in the network, so I hope someone can teach me more about this sport. If anyone can do in relation Mayweather vs. Hatton to fight, which will help a lot, because the points were mentioned in it all the time and I watched him carefully, twice. Thanks!

In boxing professional, their are three judges. Each judge will give a score of "10" who thought he was the winner of the round while the loser receives a "9" (Minus one point for each fall). In amateur boxing, there are five judges who use a device to score. Each judge is given the opportunity to press the button on the device if a fighter fell marked by landing a clean shot. For qualifying record, three of the five judges must press the same button for combat in a certain amount of milliseconds.
