mouthpiece in poor condition?

I bought a rubber boot for boxing class mouth full. And it was a kind of hole in breathing with a stopper plastic! The instructions say when molding process plastick not take the plug out. so when you cast (when it was soft) I recently and could not cover my front teeth, because the plug! to return without the cap i molded plastic and everything went well, but now the type of breathing hole is closed and hard to breathe when I'm using it! so it may sound stupid, but I Donno if it is correct or not! this is my spokesman in disrepair or is there something I can do or whatever! please help!

your not supposed to breathe out your mouth anyway.
