Sims 3 help to create a tool of the world?

ie installed the sims downloaded 3 CAWT but as soon as I try to run common with a silver box saying: "The current version of The Sims 3 does not match the current version of The Sims 3 Creating a world-beta tool: please patch the game to continue" but the problem is, every time I try to run the sims through the autorun box thing, which comes with a blue screen and my comp restarts itself so I can not download the patch! please help xx ps sorry for poor Grammar / puntuation / caps, mega bad sunburn on the arms-_-(3-second degree burns!)

Sims 3 The world needs to create a tool version 3.2.1933 patch for The Sims 3 World, or the version 2.2.8 patch for The Sims 3 base game but if you are getting blue screen errors in the backup pitcher should start any save games, The Sims or custom content found in C: Users Your name Documents Electronic Arts (given in some way) and you can have custom content in C: Program Files Electronic Arts The Sims 3 Mods Packages, then uninstall the game and re-install and use the launcher to get the game patched up to date then The Sims 3 Creating a world tool work for you.
