How are properly tuned port for a subwoofer box?
I'm in the process of getting the materials needed to create my own 12 "Subwoofer box. I plan on making the box 35" (W), 16 "(H) and 17" (deep), but I do not know how to do correct port. Does anyone know of a good instructional video or instructions with pictures of some kind to help me with this project?
Yes, there are many websites out there that provide calculators tuning port. Http: / / www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31 this is one of the most popular. I also Rockford Fosgate box enclosure has a calculator on your site as well, but I would only use the first one I provided. Very useful. Also check out stevemeadedesigns.com There are many users there and lots of tips and tricks in the forums. Good site for beginner box builders.
