what exersizes can i do at home to help strengthen me for boxing practice and gain muscle definition?
ive been training for a while by myself but i just recently joined a boxing gym and i want to be able to do things/drills at home to help speed up my skill, muscle size and strength gains. i own a punching bag but not really any heavy weights. please be specific in how i should go about accomplishing this via techniques ect. PLEASE BE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME.

Cardio is very easy to do at home, try jump roping or just plain running. Also I would recommend investing in some dumbbells (u can get them at walmart or even goodwill has them sometimes) do some bicep curls, dumbbell bench, and shoulder presses. Without weights some good exercises that strengthen muscle are dips (just do them on your kitchen counter or put your feet on a chair and do them off the couch) pushups, situps, squats. What i like to do on days i dont go to the gym is an exhaustion drill, try this:
Punch your punching bag for 10 minutes (freestyle punches)
Then do 20 pushups and 20 situps
then punch again with alternating jabs for 5 minutes
Then 20 pushups and situps
punch with alternating hooks for 5 minutes
20 pushups and situps
punch with just right hand any punch for 2 minutes
20 pushups and situps
punch with just left hand any punch for 2 minutes
20 pushups and situps
its very exhausting and you will be covered in sweat, guaranteed
put on a playlist with about 15 songs and it should pass in no time
