Boxing does help gain muscle?

I gym 4 times a week and all weights and that, but I'm trying to do boxing as well and I am thinking the replacement of two days to do so. Does this help build muscle, I know it really helps with cardiovascular health, but I am to-side muscle of things. The reason I ask this is that, Ive seen Muhammad Ali exercise program when he was in the gym and he said he never lifts weights, just jumping, shadow boxing, sparring, speed ball, punching the heavy bag on, and to be honest it was a good way to know, as it looked pretty big and never do any weight training, so I was wondering?

What are you talking about? Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson made the lifting weights. Both were: military press, bench press and squat light. Its about you, not Muhammad Ali. Be yourself and not another fighter when it comes to training. Boxing help the muscles toned and defined, it will win or not build muscle.
