Who is a big fan of UFC?

So I saw this thing like what was it two or three weeks ago, whenever the lidell match was. So on ESPN they had joe rogan and some candy@*& from the boxing assosciation going back and forth about who is the best. Ok first off you entertain us who cares, but the world today needs more contact, more @#$ kicking. And boxing has so many boring fights. The most worthy fights are on ESPN on friday nights. Everything else is for publicity and the money. There was a chart that said that UFC has outsold boxing tickets on HBO(yes people I said HBO, they called this a PPV event go fig), by more than double. The worst part of it, you know your doing crappy when WWE, fake wrestling, also overtakes you in its tickets. The reason why everyone likes UFC. The knockouts, the chokeouts and the blood. Come on

Fighting is probably the most fundamental sport that I can think of. I think that’s why MMA is starting to really take off in popularity across the globe. People have been fighting since the start of time, but different cultures have come up with different styles and techniques over time and its just now starting to come together as one system where you have to be good at many styles rather than just one (IE boxing or ju jitsu). I like the UFC more than the other promotions because they know how to market to the 18-34 year olds, which I fall under. Boxing has failed to produce superstars like they had in the 70′s and 80′s and the promoters have all but killed the sport (like a certain fuzzy headed treasure troll promoter who’ll remain nameless). Not to mention, people are violent in nature, just at varying degrees. I like seeing knockouts and submissions, but I could care less if I saw blood everywhere. I think alot of people like it since they think if they watch enough of it, that it makes them capable of fighting in the UFC.
