Why do not more shot in the groin in the UFC, you always use cups?
I'm kind of surprise that is no more accidental or intentional shooting in the groin, what with all the kicking leg and fighting nearby. A boxing coach I work with currently recommended "cheap shots" as a method to around a fight if your guy is losing.
Groin shots are illegal in the UFC, but used to open game. View Joe Son vs Keith Hackney UFC 4, Revenge of the Warriors. This was parodied in the Austin Powers films, where Joe Son played "Random Task" and is defeated at last by the Swedish Austin made enlarger. Yes cups are required. If you look at a fighter entering the octagon, the referee will make a series of questions and you can see the struggle to adjust their trunks saying that he is using a cup.
